The Chelsea 871XEQTP-B5AB is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmission applications. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm), with no derating required for continuous-duty use. Its compact housing is built to minimize clearance conflicts during installation, and multiple assembly arrangements give installers flexibility across a range of vehicle configurations. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than the gray iron cap used in the predecessor 870 Series, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibrational effects. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series PTO. It is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options: Wet Spline (extends PTO and pump shaft life), SmartStart (reduces shock load at start-up), and Quiet Gear. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is available to protect driven equipment. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options are offered across the series.
