The Chelsea 899HDFJW-M5AZ is a constant-mesh Power Take-Off built for Allison 4700 Series transmissions. The 899 Series positions the PTO and pump mounting flange at the rear of the transmission, improving pump clearance while allowing the housing and gear section to sit tightly against the transmission. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension. Output is an SAE C 1-1/4"-14T pump spline with wet spline lubrication to extend PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. The 10-bolt mounting pattern follows standard side-mount practice with an additional rear-of-transmission support bracket. Common applications within the 899 Series include aerial trucks, fire and rescue apparatus, refuse trucks, and truck cranes.
