The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-W3RK or 489XCAHXW3RK, is a mechanical shift PTO built for most manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths compared to adapter-style installations. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series ranges from 201 to 300 lb-ft. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
