The Chelsea 489ZSAHX-A5XD is a Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) unit built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shift accomplished via wire/cable mechanical linkage. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the series supports eleven internal speed ratios across twenty-seven output configurations. Compatible manual transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec.
