The Chelsea 489ZSDAX-A5RJ is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, built for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and uses strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
