The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (part 288GCFJW-M8RS or 288GCFJWM8RS) is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform, delivering a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The round output shaft (1-1/4" with key) includes a positive stop feature that eliminates oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Wet Spline lubrication is available, extending pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times compared to standard spline wear.
