The Chelsea 288GCFJP-M8RS or 288GCFJPM8RS is a 10-bolt, constant mesh power take-off built on the 288 Series platform. This series delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger-capacity bearings compared to the 281 Series it replaced. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and the standard configuration includes a positive-stop feature that eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Ductile iron bearing caps provide 117% greater strength over gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high range applications. Wet Spline Lubrication is available to extend pump shaft life 7 to 10 times over a dry spline setup.
