The Chelsea 288GDFJP-M8XV or 288GDFJPM8XV is a 10-bolt constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 288 Series, built on the proven 281 Series platform. It delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft through a round output shaft with a 1-1/4" key. The cast iron housing carries wider gears and larger capacity bearings compared to the 287 Series it replaces. Ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron, combined with an O-ring sealing configuration, address the vibrational stress that modern engine designs place on PTO housings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The round output shaft includes a positive stop to protect oil seals at driveline couplings.
