The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GGFJP-M5RK or 288GGFJPM5RK, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform. It carries a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, supported by wider gears and larger-capacity bearings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage from modern engine designs. The round output shaft features a 1-inch, 1/4-inch key configuration with positive stop to prevent oil seal damage at driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios cover low and high ranges.
