The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (part 288GGFJP-M8RK or 288GGFJPM8RK) is a 10-bolt, constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform, rated for continuous duty torque up to 390 lb-ft. The cast iron housing carries wider gears and larger-capacity bearings to support a single continuous torque rating rather than separate intermittent and continuous ratings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration-induced damage. The round output shaft features a positive stop that eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed needs, and the Wet Spline lubrication option extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
