The Chelsea 288GCFJP-M5RS or 288GCFJPM5RS is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 288 Series, built on the proven 281 Series platform. It features a cast iron housing, ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The standard output shaft includes a positive-stop design that eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a hydraulic hose is included.
