The Chelsea 249HMLLX-K455 or 249HMLLXK455 is a Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 249 Series, engineered specifically for the Ford 6R140 TorqShift 6 automatic transmission. This series uses a 6-bolt Ford mounting pattern and a hydraulic PowerShift actuation system with a single-hose connection and an integrated cartridge valve, which simplifies installation and reduces leak paths. The 249 Series is Chelsea's patented noise-reduction PTO, the only unit designed to suppress torsional noise on Ford Super Duty TorqShift 6 applications. Intermittent torque capacity for the series reaches up to 200 lb-ft (271 Nm). Output options across the series include round shaft and pump spline configurations. Available for both 2WD and 4WD applications, the 249 Series suits service trucks, tow and recovery, small dump trucks, and aerial and fire and rescue equipment.
