The Chelsea 272XGAJP-B3BD or 272XGAJPB3BD is a 272 Series hot-shift power take-off built for medium-duty applications. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and shifts pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability for this series reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW), with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, RAM, and others. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea PTO lines into one platform suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck work.
