The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489CBAHP-M4RA or 489CBAHPM4RA, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate that would otherwise add a potential leak path. Internally, tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, with a round 1-1/4" keyed output shaft. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical.
