The Chelsea 489XHAHX-M4RA or 489XHAHXM4RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This series uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
