The Chelsea 489DRMAX-56RK or 489DRMAX56RK is a Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and operates with a wire/cable mechanical shift. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft, and the series supports 11 internal speed ratios. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
