The Chelsea 489DFMCX-56RK or 489DFMCX56RK is a Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and uses wire/cable mechanical shift.
