The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GCAHX-H3XD or 489GCAHXH3XD is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Common internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series simplify servicing.
