The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GCAHX-V5RK or 489GCAHXV5RK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture on compatible transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the adapter plate that traditional designs require. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and uses tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability compared to needle-bearing designs.
