The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GFAHX-T5XK or 489GFAHXT5XK, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and is rated for wire/cable mechanical shift actuation. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Tapered bearings provide greater load capacity compared to needle-bearing designs. Compatible with Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
