The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLAHX-A5RA or 489GLAHXA5RA, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series features strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and shares internal parts common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
