The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GLAHX-V5RE or 489GLAHXV5RE, is a mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on applications including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The output is a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
