The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GLAHX-A5RF or 489GLAHXA5RF is a mechanical-shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output shaft type is a 1-1/4-inch round shaft with key.
