The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XFAHX-V5RE or 489XFAHXV5RE is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, fitting most Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec transmissions without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, backed by tapered bearings for greater load capacity than needle-bearing designs.
