The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQAHX-V5RE or 489XQAHXV5RE, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for an 8-bolt transmission opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture of most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec, eliminating the adapter plate that is a common leak point. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm) and a continuous output range of 46 to 55 HP (34 to 41 kW).
