The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GQAHX-W3GF or 489GQAHXW3GF, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and the series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft.
