The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GQITX-A3GK or 489GQITXA3GK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates a common leak path that adapter-plate designs introduce. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers output through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series carries intermittent torque ratings of 201-300 lb-ft and output power in the 46-55 HP range at intermittent duty, with tapered bearings used in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity.
