The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GRAHX-V5RA or 489GRAHXV5RA, is an 8-bolt mechanical-shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers up to 250 lb-ft torque capacity, the same rating as the Chelsea 442 Series, with tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Eleven internal speed ratios and twenty-seven output options make this a versatile choice for utility trucks, dump trucks, aerial equipment, and snow and ice removal applications.
