The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GRAHX-A6GA or 489GRAHXA6GA, is a mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The 489 Series uses a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths compared to traditional multi-piece designs. The series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power between 46 and 55 HP. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed design. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity. This series fits most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec.
