489GRAHX-V3XY Chelsea 489 Series PTO

The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GRAHX-V3XY or 489GRAHXV3XY is a mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, fitting applications such as Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, removing the need for a separate adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers output power in the 46-55 HP range. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The Chelsea 489 Series is suited for utility trucks, dump trucks and trailers, snow and ice removal equipment, and fire and rescue vehicles. The integral 8-bolt cast iron housing provides the same torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. Twenty-seven output options are available across the 489 Series, including a 360-degree rotatable flange with a greaseable shaft to reduce pump shaft spline fretting and corrosion.
