The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GSITX-V5RB or 489GSITXV5RB is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace the needle bearings common in other designs for greater load-bearing capability.
