The Chelsea 489GSITX-V5RA or 489GSITXV5RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This series accommodates wire/cable mechanical shift operation and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output shaft type is a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the 489 uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability.
