The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489KLAHX-S3XK or 489KLAHXS3XK is a mechanical shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft output power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The wire/cable mechanical shift mechanism and 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft are characteristic of this series.
