The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Air shift and an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 1" 15-tooth SAE BB output shaft are characteristics of this unit. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
