The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489KSBGX-V3XK or 489KSBGXV3XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, simplifying service.
