The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-A5RE or 489XCAHXA5RE, is built for 8-bolt manual transmission applications including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path while delivering the same torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft. The 489 Series features tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
