The Chelsea 489XFAHX-A5RK or 489XFAHXA5RK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round keyed design. The Chelsea 489 Series PTO shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series, giving technicians a familiar service experience and broad parts availability. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability under demanding duty cycles.
