The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZFDAX-A5RK or 489ZFDAXA5RK, is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, which cuts installation time and eliminates a potential leak path. Tapered bearings provide greater load-bearing capability compared to needle bearings. The 489 Series is rated for 201 to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and delivers up to 46 to 55 HP output.
