The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XFAHX-V3RJ or 489XFAHXV3RJ, is an 8-bolt air shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission's 8-bolt opening, eliminating the adapter plate that would otherwise introduce an additional potential leak path. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output is a rotatable SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 1 inch 15-tooth SAE BB shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
