The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XFAHX-A5GZ or 489XFAHXA5GZ mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts on without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The 489 Series is rated for intermittent torque of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4 inch round keyed output shaft. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-carrying capability. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series.
