The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XFAHX-V3RY or 489XFAHXV3RY is a mechanical-shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, fitting most Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission and eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on other designs. Internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series, with tapered bearings replacing needle bearings for greater load capacity. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft.
