The Chelsea 489XFAHX-X3XK or 489XFAHXX3XK is an 8-bolt power take-off from Chelsea's 489 Series, engineered to mount directly to manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Eaton Endurant gearboxes without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on multi-piece designs. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers power through a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shaft output of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series.
