The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A5RF or 489XHAHXA5RF, mounts directly to the 8-bolt PTO opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts on without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the 489 Series supports a 360-degree rotatable flange with a greaseable shaft to help reduce spline fretting and corrosion.
