The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-A5XE or 489XLAHXA5XE, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift type is air shift.
