The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-H3XY or 489XLAHXH3XY, is an 8-bolt PTO with no shift assembly, designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output is through a DIN 5462 pump mount with a DIN 5462 shaft (B8x32x36). The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque capacity of 201 to 300 lb-ft and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
