The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQAHX-V4XK or 489XQAHXV4XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46-55 HP output power. Shift type is air shift.
