The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-A4XK or 489XRAHXA4XK, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier designs, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, backed by tapered bearings for greater load capacity than needle-bearing designs.
