The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, supported by strong tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability than needle-bearing designs.
