The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-V5XY or 489XRAHXV5XY, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs from 201 to 300 lb-ft. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
