The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRITX-V5XD or 489XRITXV5XD, is an 8-bolt mounted PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit features wire/cable mechanical shift, a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft, and tapered bearings for greater load-bearing capability compared to needle-bearing designs.
